1. Our privacy approach
Doctor Fortune does not require a separate Doctor Fortune account for its free ChatGPT services. We do not sell personal information, build advertising profiles from submitted readings, or use submitted content for direct marketing.
The service must nevertheless receive and process the information you choose to submit in order to calculate and return a reading. “No separate account” does not mean that no data is processed.
2. Information processed
Depending on the feature you use, Doctor Fortune may process:
- Reading inputs: prompts, questions, birth date, birth time, calendar type, gender, language, time zone, location supplied for chart calculation, Tarot selections, requested spread positions, and other details you voluntarily provide.
- Generated results: calculated charts, card selections, and related structured results returned to ChatGPT or another requesting client.
- Technical information: IP address, request time, request method and URL, response status, referrer, user agent, protocol, request, service, or session identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, security events, and diagnostic or error information.
Please do not submit government identifiers, account passwords, payment credentials, medical records, or other information that is not needed for a reading.
3. How information is used
We process information only as reasonably necessary to:
- calculate and deliver the requested reading or widget;
- maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve service reliability;
- prevent abuse, fraud, attacks, or unauthorized access;
- comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
4. Storage and retention
The current MCP tools are designed to process reading inputs for the immediate request and return the result. Doctor Fortune does not intentionally create a persistent user profile or a separate application database of ChatGPT conversations for these tools.
Standard server, hosting, CDN, security, and diagnostic logs may be created automatically. Those logs may contain technical information and, in limited cases, submitted parameters associated with an error or diagnostic event. We retain such records only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and service operations, after which they are deleted, aggregated, or de-identified where practicable.
Some non-MCP, legacy, daily-reading, or account-linked features may store the information needed to create, retrieve, limit, or secure a requested result. Depending on the feature, this may include a service identifier, birth details, gender, chart values, IP address, IP-derived approximate location, and generated result. Such records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the feature, security, legal compliance, dispute handling, and service operations.
ChatGPT, OpenAI, and other client platforms control their own copies of conversations, account information, and retention settings. Their retention is not controlled by Doctor Fortune.
5. Disclosure and service providers
We may disclose limited information to hosting, infrastructure, CDN, security, and technical service providers that process it on our behalf; when required by law or a valid legal process; to protect users, the public, our rights, or service security; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets. We do not sell submitted reading information.
6. Third-party platforms
Doctor Fortune services may run inside or be invoked by ChatGPT, OpenAI products, MCP clients, browsers, or other third-party platforms. Those platforms may receive prompts, outputs, account data, and usage information under their own terms and privacy policies. Review the controls and policies of the platform you use. Doctor Fortune is not responsible for a third party's independent data practices.
Certain non-MCP or legacy features may also send prompts, structured reading inputs, or generated context to OpenAI or another model provider in order to produce the requested response. Those providers process the transmitted information under their applicable agreements and policies.
7. Website technologies
Our public website does not require a Doctor Fortune account. Essential hosting requests and third-party resources such as fonts or media delivery may cause the relevant provider to receive technical information, including an IP address and user agent. We may change infrastructure providers as the service evolves.
8. Children and sensitive information
The services are not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in their jurisdiction. Do not submit another person's birth details or private information unless you have the right and authority to do so. If we learn that information was submitted unlawfully, we may delete or restrict it where reasonably possible.
9. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service. No network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
10. Your choices and requests
You can limit the information processed by submitting only what is necessary, omitting an unknown birth time, and removing optional context. Because the MCP tools do not maintain a Doctor Fortune user account or intentionally store a conversation database, we may have no persistent record that can be located by user identity. Other features may keep a service record as described above; when contacting us, provide the relevant service name, approximate date, and any result or request identifier so that we can determine whether a record can reasonably be located. Requests concerning copies retained by ChatGPT or another platform must be directed to that platform.
11. Changes and contact
